It has also made an industry out of bigfootery, with teams popping up everywhere, mimicking the Finding Bigfoot team like ghost hunters imitated TAPS.And, they perpetuated great ignorance for the subject, such as the assumption of Bigfoot being an ape or animal and having such a low level of interaction that tree knocks and hollers are the only way to communicate.I give Finding Bigfoot awesome kudos for putting together a team that is very indicative of the types we find in this field of study. You could certainly see a situation in which there would be such a swift and unwelcoming federal response. If the landing was threatening, or unexplained, it could certainly inspire a level of fear that would provoke such a reaction.

However, one thing left out of this scenario is the disbelief factor. We have been deluged with alien landing stories and movies for years. Because of this, and because we have become understandably cynical in this age of instantaneous news, most people are likely to think any craft landing in the United States is part of some elaborate hoax. The question is how long this disbelief would last. It's an important question because it goes directly to the response. If the local and state agencies responding to a craft landing maintain a healthy level of skepticism, it will take a while before federal authorities are called in to investigate. How long? Perhaps a few hours, maybe less. You would imagine it would take at least an hour or two for local police to sort out the scene, call for back-up and make decisions with the political leaders at the city, county and then state level. This process would have to occur before federal authorities would be called in. Contrary to portrayals in the movies the federal government doesn't move very quickly. I think Mr. Wilson is correct in the idea that the FBI would be the first to arrive on the scene. These would be local agents from the nearest bureau and even their appearance would probably take an hour or two.

So, how do you organize First Contact so that a complete overreaction by the federal authorities is avoided? The media is the key. There is only one thing almost as powerful as the federal government and that is the combined power of the local and national media outlets. When news is breaking the media can control how the coverage will proceed, but only if they are on the scene quickly enough. Now this is certainly not the case in a plane crash. We have all seen police and then federal investigators secure a plane crash scene and keep the media at bay. But First Contact wouldn't be a plane crash. In fact, the one thing that helps the situation is that there is probably no standard response for such a First Contact type of event anywhere at the local or state level. You would imagine the federal government would have some such response plan, but how quickly would they implement such a plan?

This subject is important because First Contact can go two ways. It can be an open and positive hello to the entire planet. Or it can be a secretive and paranoid series of governmental overreactions. The key is to engage the power of the news media immediately. To do this there has to be some human help. Extraterrestrials can't just walk off a spacecraft and say hello. There has to be a process, and a quick one at that. It needs to engage media coverage immediately and then set forth a motion of process that goes so quickly that government bodies get left behind, essentially playing catch up and struggling with crowd control. This won't be easy. It will take detailed preparation and controlled execution.

First Contact can either be a celebratory moment or one of fear and distrust. How it is organized and carried out is critical. And the results would most likely impact the relationship with our new neighbors for many years to come. It has to be done right.

We saw two big ones and one small one very clear and square in the distance. It also looked like some pointed poles below the tops, which were very pointed at each end. They were all one med gray color and very large.! There was no shadows or land layers to see. As we drive about 67 mph, we see the left side of the middle mesa start to distort and change. The white disc is now vanished some how and the left areas are distorting and some things can be seen moving. We lost view from trees and rock hill. When we came out, we saw Granite Mt some other hills and Mts in the valley. They had different shades of color and looked normal in the distance. They looked much smaller now with depth. TALES OF HAUNTING HELP, HURT BUSINESSES IN NORTHEAST KANSASAll things ghostly and ghoulish are a boon to candy companies and party stores in October, but the paranormal can be a little more complicated for businesses that some believe have customers who stay after their earthly end.Lori Ford, who has owned the Hotel Josephine, 501 Ohio Ave. in Holton, for more than two years, said some people specifically come looking for a paranormal experience, like the ghost hunters who have scheduled an evening investigation Oct. 26. Other people are unnerved by the idea and may avoid the hotel, she said, while some don't believe in the paranormal and don't seem to factor the stories in when choosing where to stay."It's a blessing and a curse," she said. "It hurts our business sometimes because people come in and get freaked out. But I also have a draw for it, especially in October."Hard numbers on how many Americans seek out an encounter with a spirit (as opposed to a staged "haunted house") are difficult to come by because of the decentralized nature of the hobby, but almost one-fifth of Americans believe they had come in contact with one. A 2009 poll by the Pew Research Center found about 18 percent of Americans believed they had been in the presence of a ghost, and 29 percent believed they had been in some form of contact with someone who had died.The idea of contacting the dead clearly is connecting with viewers on the small screen. Syfy's "Ghost Hunters," introduced in 2004, still is running, with audiences of 1.1 million to 2.1 million, though some paranormal investigators have called its methods into question. Syfy also has run programs called "Notorious Hauntings, Paranormal Witness, Haunted Highway, Haunted Collector" and "Destination Truth," and in October the Travel Channel runs features about hotels and travel destinations that are purported to house otherworldly guests.Ford said she doesn't market the Josephine as a "haunted hotel," but people who have done Internet research before booking a room often come across stories. She said there were no signs of haunting when she worked at the hotel as a teenager, but phenomena apparently began somewhere in the intervening years because the previous owner mentioned a ghost when she bought the hotel.Ford said she personally has heard noises like someone walking upstairs when no one else is there and the spirits seem to make more noise if a living guest is drunk or behaving disrespectfully, but nothing frightening has happened. HISTORY

OCHATE is a town that leads to the depths of the PARANORMAL one PEOPLE DEAD and forgotten that everyone wanted to see in 1981 that had taken pictures of UFO and that's when it started has find amazing stories about this town.OCHATE which means secret door is a dead town that appeared back in 1134 but with another name GOATE which means door upstairs. Ufo Sighting In Steger

I was sitting on my patio facing south about 11:00 pm the night of May 21st, 2013. I was simply relaxing and looking up at the sky observing as the clouds were moving in from the south soon to cover up the moon and stars. The cloud cover was spotty but getting more solid and quickly moving in to completely cover the open night sky and the moon. Where I live the jets frequently pass overhead either coming to or leaving Midway or O'Hare airports which are about 25 and 40 miles north respectively. It is a familiar sight. This night there were various jets at various altitudes coming from varying directions literally every few minutes. I usually can hear them as or after they pass. I am very familiar with them and how they look. I was sitting just quietly watching the clouds roll in. I then noticed a dark form coming from the west over the trees, it was a winged object and my first fleeting thought was that it was a bird. It crossed the sky from W to E in just a few seconds. It was about 35 to 40 degrees from horizon. and I tried to follow it's progress east. It just struck me as odd. It just felt odd because after I thought about it for a second it didn't seem to flap at all, just glide. I got up and walked a few steps to see it as it went east but as I looked for it and it was just gone as if it flew into the cloud cover. I began to dismiss it as nothing. Then I saw a brilliant light for a couple of seconds equal to the luminescence of Venus coming right from where the object would have progressed. From my point of view about 35 degrees above horizon and to the southeast of me. It was shining either through or below the approaching cloud cover. The whole sighting from seeing the first dark shape to seeing the brilliant light lasted all of 10 seconds or so. I waited until today (May 24th) to report this because I wanted to look tonight at that point in the sky now that the skies are clear, and there are no bright stars or objects anywhere near that vicinity in the sky. If it were a lone bird gliding by (not flapping) that time of night then to traverse that amount of sky it would have had to be only slightly above treetop level and it would have been a quite large bird. If it were another object much higher in the sky then to traverse that distance in the sky it would have been traveling very fast and been much larger perhaps 100 feet or so. With no point of reference it's hard to determine altitude or size. The object was black and the night cover was very grey. There were at the time interval of the sighting, 2 jets in the observable sky at the time. One at a very high altitude (30,000 feet) going southeast and from my view moving slowly across the sky at about 80 degrees above horizon and still northwest of me. The other traveling south and at a lower altitude maybe 3000 feet or less and straight east of me at about 30 degrees above horizon. Both had visible blinking lights and usual flight characteristics for a commercial jet. If the black object I observed was actually large and at high altitude I estimate it was on a course that would have brought it close to the later of the 2 observed jets had it stayed on course. I don't know what it was I'm only giving my best observations of the few seconds it appeared to me. I don't know what that brilliant light that appeared for a couple of seconds was either. If it were a jet approaching with landing lights I would have seen it and/or heard it as it came out of the cloud cover or approached. I waited and saw and heard nothing of the sort. If it didn't feel odd to me I wouldn't report it.

Researchers are claiming they are 96% sure that the fabled Russian version of the Abominable Snowman lives in the Kemerovo region of Siberia. a group of scientists set out for the remote mountainous area in search of the elusive being. and it didn't take very long for them to issue a statement on the official Kemerovo website stating they had found "footprints, a probable den and various markers that Yetis mark their territory with."

They concluded that the artifacts gave them 96% proof of the existence of Yeti in the Kemerovo region. Some possible Yeti hair samples reportedly found in the region will be analyzed in a laboratory to determine their origin.

The jury is still out on the case but our own Trent "Yetiman" Mullen was on site for a comment. "This doesn't seem to be any more than a group of inexperienced field researchers finding some hair of undetermined origin and calling it Bigfoot hair. there is no proof here that would hold up zoologically. additionally, I can attest personally that there is no way these people could find the lair of the yeti."

Ufo Sighting In Roseburg Oregon On April 30Th 2013 Saw A Slow Moving Bright Yellow Orange Color Light In The Sky

At 2218 hours on April 30th, I was fueling my work vehicle and noticed a large, bright object which initialy, appeared stationary in the sky. The light had been so bright and out of place, it was easy to catch my eye. After looking at the object for a few seconds, I could see it was moving in a slow, but steady line to the southeast. The object was a very bright yellow-orange color; as bright as the surrounding yellow color street lights. From where I was standing, it compared in size to if I was holding dime out at arms length in front of me. I estimated the object to be about four hundred yards from the ground, traveling directly over the town, about 3/4 of a mile northwest of my location. The light remained solid in appearance and was extremely bright. The skys were crystal clear that night and the tempature was about 55 degrees or so. I watched the light travel on a slow straight course for about two minutes befor it made and "abrupt" directional change to the southwest, without stopping or slowing speed. As I watched the light after it made a directional change, I noticed the bright light began to flicker. The "flicker" did not appear to be flame like to me, but more of an abrupt and intermitent on/off-type flicker. The light went completely out at one point, but I could still see it traveling at what appeared to be the same speed and the same southwest course. The bright yellow-orange light was now about the same brightness as a faint star. I was not able to see any shape or structure to the object, other than the aforementioned illumination. I was still able to track the object throught the sky, as it traveled over one of the local large hills (Mt. Nebo) before losing sight of it behind the mountain. The light appeared to travel over the crest of the mountain by less than five hundred feet from my vantage point. There is a municipal airport near the center of town, but this object did not have any standard color (red, blue, clear or green) or blinking aircraft marker or landing gear-type lights. There were no helecopters working in the area at this time orany other known motorized aircraft, and the object did not appear to be following the typical aircraft flight path, nor did it seem to emit any sound. She relieves the experience to this day.Eiffel Tower, Paris, France--Another love story turned tragic when a spurned lover threw his beloved from the top. Her phantom shouts of "NO!" and then a blood-chilling scream have been heard now and then.Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, France--Some say the gargoyles come alive!Mont St. Michele, Normandy, France--Witnesses speak of having glimpsed phantom monks and time slips that reveal the sights and sounds of battles from WWII and the Middle Ages.Amsterdam's Dam Square, home to witch burnings of the Spanish Inquisition.Amsterdam's Montelbaan Tower is home to a family of ghosts who once a year re-enact their terribly unsuccessful attempt to flee to the the tower for protection from an invading force.Haunted Dover Castle sits high atop the famed white cliffs of Dover. Nearby are an ancient Saxon church and a Roman lighthouse--both haunted as well.The London Stone, on Cannon Street, is said to hold the city's fate; should it be removed, the city would fall.Dating to the 1690s, London's George Inn is a haunted hotspot that has been featured in works by Charles Dickens and others. Ghosts of ancient cavaliers and a more recent owner are said to haunt the pile, the latter wreaking havoc with electrical systems.The Tower of London at night is a powerfully creepy place. I was fortunate enough to witness the Key Ceremony, a lantern lit procession of Beefeaters who dramatically lock up the Tower at night. Countless apparitions and mysterious phenomena have occurred here over the centuries.In the English county of Kent, Leeds castle has stood for centuries. Once home to royalty, it is now a museum. But some say a spectral black hound still haunts its environs, a harbinger of doom.
