UFO SIGHTING IN CONNELLSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA ON AUGUST 16TH 2013 - MOVING THEN HOVERING OBJECT THAT CHANGED DIRECTION AND COLOR FROM RED TO ORANGE THEN DISAPPEARED.

I went into my backyard on 8-16-2013 around 9.25 pm to sky watch due to some other things I've been seeing really high in the sky since 8-10-2013. As I sat down in my chair that is against my chainlink fence facing east I noticed a strange bright light coming from the southeast torward me. I was amazed with it cause it changed from orange to red then back to orange then red again. The object seemed to come out of nowhere. This was now 9:30pm.That's when I ran up on my porch opened my door and yelled for my wife to come outside and look. As she got outside the object seemed to get smaller as it started moving west like it was heading for the moon for cover. Then as it moved it got dimmer and dimmer then finally vanished into thin air. On a side note the area where I first saw this there was nothing in the sky I know this cause that's the first area I looked at when I walked out my back door into my yard. We got a couple pic and a small video on our cell phones but they didn't come out very good. When I first noticed this object I had mixed emotions I had no idea what it was I've never seen anything like it. I felt a little fear but at the same time my adrenalin was pumping.

A Mail reader snapped these pictures of mysterious lights over east Hull.

Now, Jean Dearing is appealing for people who saw the UFO to get in touch.

Mrs Dearing says she is convinced the lights were a UFO.

She said: "It was almost a fan-shaped object, half the size of the moon. It was so bright.

"I dashed in to get my camera and when I looked up again the object was beginning to move in a clockwise circular motion. Then it dropped sharply downwards and then back upwards.

"I tried to put my camera on video but my hands were shaking with excitement, so I just held up the camera and snapped. The object then climbed higher into the sky and disappeared at great speed upwards and out of my sight."...

Parachuting Ufos

On October 15, TV viewers in the area around El Paso, Texas were titillated with the following video: "Mysterious Lights over East El Paso, News Channel 9"

TV news reporters described seeing a bright light that suddenly broke into three pieces, then four, and then seemingly hovered in the air. Comparing the El Paso lights (at night) with the balloon UFOs seen (midday) over Manhattan shortly before (see previous Blog entry), their 'triangular patterns' were described as "eerily similar." (Hint to UFOlogists: any three points define a triangle, unless they are all on a straight line.)

Commenters on the website of KTSM-TV, Channel 9 in El Paso, made comments like "I saw then thinking it was an airsho[w] drill, but planes cannot stay still that long and then a fourth one appear. This is the stuff government won't tell us," or "Planes of any kind, we would have been able to see then. Definitely UFO's!" ( http://www.ktsm.com/mysterious-lights-over-east-el-paso ). Somebody made the obligatory (and utterly irrational) comment "This universe is far and beyond! What makes us think that us humans are the only ones here?" (The universe is indeed vast, but just because ET intelligence probably exists somewhere "DOES NOT" mean that they must be here right now!) Then the same fallacy surfaces a second time: "Amazing footage! But to say their [sic] airplanes....c'mon! I don't believe anyone is going to buy into that. It's selfish to believe that we're the only one's in existence. Fact of the matter is, it's a UFO."

Sorry folks, but we know exactly what this "UFO" was. The Golden Knights is the Parachute Team of the U.S. Army, that does performances at air shows all around the country.Team member Rachel Medley wrote "Black Team performed a night jump last night into the Amigo Air Show evening social event, then did two mass formations with the beautiful desert and mountains as a backdrop." We are commonly mistaken as UFOs or meteors," because they jump out of airplanes with pyrotechnics strapped to their ankles. Many people refused to believe that they could have been seeing pyrotechnic parachutists, but Ms. Medley simply replied by inviting them to witness forthcoming shows by the Golden Knights elsewhere in Texas.

So the moral of our story is: when you're looking skyward, all that glitters is not UFOs.

Location of Sighting: Intersection of Islington and Bloor Street. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 3-4 Shape of objects: Points of white light.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was walking north in Islington St with my friend, towards Bloor St. We had been talking about the big dipper, so we were looking up at the sky a lot. I spotted a group of moving lights, fairly faint but moving with some speed across the sky. I thought it was a jet aircraft because it resembled the outline of one, but there was no silhouette on the sky, and there were no blinking lights at all. At one point, I saw them fly in front of a bright star overhead, and the star didn't wink, so there was no solid body there. There was also no noise or anything. I pointed them out to my friend just before they went down behind some trees. I thought they were maybe satellites flying in some elaborate formation, but to be honest I have no idea what they were. I'm curious if anyone else in the Toronto area saw the same thing as me. They moved from the northwest to the south east.

A Major Ufological Misstep

It's remarkable that persons as (allegedly) smart as Kevin Randle miss the obvious: that it's the United States Navy that holds the keys to the UFO mystery, not the U.S. Air Force, not NSA, not the CIA, not the Army, and not any other clandestine subset of the U.S. Government.

Randle even posted, at his blog, a letter about Mogul that gave him another clue that it's been the Navy all along that has held the UFO phenomenon close to the vest.

We've posted other Naval documents at our private UFO web-suite - http://ufos.homestead.com -- that indicate the Navy has investigated and is still investigating UFOs, while experiencing UFO events that no other government agency has experienced.

While the Navy's fingerprints are all over UFO sightings, and have been since 1945 (see L. Ron Hubbard material at our web-site), for some reason, the Army-Air Force intrusion in the Roswell episode has deflected persons as (allegedly) astute as Mr. Randle, who is obsessed with Roswell, from finding the materials that might confirm for them and other ufologists that UFOs are, often, extraterrestrial craft.

Stanton Friedman has also neglected to pursue the Navy's connection to UFOs, as has Brad Sparks, among others.

Errol Bruce-Knapp once told our mentor, Rich Reynolds, that he thought Bruce Maccabee was a Naval operative; that is, a person working on behalf of the Navy and not necessarily working as an unbiased ufologist.

We think Bruce-Knapp was and is right.

Others are starting to look more closely at the Navy's role in UFO incidents and what that military construct is still doing regarding the UFO enigma.

But it's the UFO old-guard that has to scratch the Navy surface before ufology's sycophants get on board.

After all, ufology contains a plethora of sheep - persons, like Alfred Lehmberg - who can't foster an original idea themselves but rely on ufology's dinosaurs to provide their ideas for them.

And, for now sadly, it's still those UFO dinosaurs that hold sway when it comes to how media and the public understand UFOs.

Full Description of event/sighting: We were outside watching the meteor shower when we noticed a large plum sized really bright yellow light moving fast across the sky. It got bigger then started to vanish into the sky! We knew it wasn't a satellite as we had seen many satellites tonight which were small star like objects moving fast, totally not the same! This isn't the first time seeing this. Well for me, but I was with my landlord who has seen something exactly the same a few weeks back with her husband. This is very scary! We did not see this again tonight, but wonder is it true?

Florida Rocket Launch Prompts Ufo Calls

ORLANDO, Fla. -A mysterious sight in the sky prompted numerous reports of UFOs, and the cause of the sightings took place in South Florida.

The Air Force says it received reports Wednesday night from Jacksonville to the Florida Keys about a weird, bluish cloud.

Many residents also called the National UFO Reporting Center.

I was outside by the campfire checking my phone. I felt like looking at the stars. I noticed a pair of lights flying in the same direction. They where spaced with a great deal of distance between them. They changed elevation and flew up near where the clouds would start. They then changed direction just before going out of my line of sight. I know what a airplane looks like at night and other military aircraft to. This what not any of these. I felt weird and wanted to keep looking at it. It was really neat, i didn't feel scared at all.

Ufo Sighting In Steger

I was sitting on my patio facing south about 11:00 pm the night of May 21st, 2013. I was simply relaxing and looking up at the sky observing as the clouds were moving in from the south soon to cover up the moon and stars. The cloud cover was spotty but getting more solid and quickly moving in to completely cover the open night sky and the moon. Where I live the jets frequently pass overhead either coming to or leaving Midway or O'Hare airports which are about 25 and 40 miles north respectively. It is a familiar sight. This night there were various jets at various altitudes coming from varying directions literally every few minutes. I usually can hear them as or after they pass. I am very familiar with them and how they look. I was sitting just quietly watching the clouds roll in. I then noticed a dark form coming from the west over the trees, it was a winged object and my first fleeting thought was that it was a bird. It crossed the sky from W to E in just a few seconds. It was about 35 to 40 degrees from horizon. and I tried to follow it's progress east. It just struck me as odd. It just felt odd because after I thought about it for a second it didn't seem to flap at all, just glide. I got up and walked a few steps to see it as it went east but as I looked for it and it was just gone as if it flew into the cloud cover. I began to dismiss it as nothing. Then I saw a brilliant light for a couple of seconds equal to the luminescence of Venus coming right from where the object would have progressed. From my point of view about 35 degrees above horizon and to the southeast of me. It was shining either through or below the approaching cloud cover. The whole sighting from seeing the first dark shape to seeing the brilliant light lasted all of 10 seconds or so. I waited until today (May 24th) to report this because I wanted to look tonight at that point in the sky now that the skies are clear, and there are no bright stars or objects anywhere near that vicinity in the sky. If it were a lone bird gliding by (not flapping) that time of night then to traverse that amount of sky it would have had to be only slightly above treetop level and it would have been a quite large bird. If it were another object much higher in the sky then to traverse that distance in the sky it would have been traveling very fast and been much larger perhaps 100 feet or so. With no point of reference it's hard to determine altitude or size. The object was black and the night cover was very grey. There were at the time interval of the sighting, 2 jets in the observable sky at the time. One at a very high altitude (30,000 feet) going southeast and from my view moving slowly across the sky at about 80 degrees above horizon and still northwest of me. The other traveling south and at a lower altitude maybe 3000 feet or less and straight east of me at about 30 degrees above horizon. Both had visible blinking lights and usual flight characteristics for a commercial jet. If the black object I observed was actually large and at high altitude I estimate it was on a course that would have brought it close to the later of the 2 observed jets had it stayed on course. I don't know what it was I'm only giving my best observations of the few seconds it appeared to me. I don't know what that brilliant light that appeared for a couple of seconds was either. If it were a jet approaching with landing lights I would have seen it and/or heard it as it came out of the cloud cover or approached. I waited and saw and heard nothing of the sort. If it didn't feel odd to me I wouldn't report it.
