ALIEN NATION DESCENDS ON NEW HAMPSHIRE UFO FESTIVAL
EXETER, H.H. - A day after the late Norman Muscarello ran into the Exeter Police station 45 years ago describing an unbelievable site, now the famed "Incident at Exeter," those at the Exeter UFO Festival honored Muscarello and his story, reports the Portsmouth Herald.On Sept. 3, 1965, Muscarello - then a teenager - reported seeing an 80- to 90-foot disk with pulsating red lights descend in his direction just outside of town. On Saturday, Muscarello was the first inductee into Exeter's UFO Hall of Fame with his younger brother Thomas Muscarello accepting the award, a framed original of this year's festival poster that features the teenaged Muscarello and police officer Gene Bertram staring up at a UFO spacecraft. WITH SUPPORT GROWING, NASA TAKES A SMALL STEP TOWARD WALKING ON AN ASTEROID
Hollywood fancies that when an asteroid threatens Earth, NASA will respond by rounding up a crew and nuking the space rock.Before doing this, though, it would be nice to know exactly what we'd be nuking, and the fact is scientists just don't know.But that may soon change.There's growing support for the idea that NASA's next human flight beyond low-Earth orbit should target a near-Earth asteroid, rather than our already visited celestial neighbor, the moon."It's a concept that I think a lot of people can relate to," said Laurie Leshin, deputy administrator for NASA's Exploration Program. NEW PROBE FROM NASA WILL BE LAUNCHED SOMETIME IN 2018 AND THE TARGET IS THE SUN

But with more we understand we realize that we know less.One of the big mysteries is the Sun. NASA will send a new probe that is part of the Solar Plus Probe program The probe will have the size of a car and will operate in the hottest region of the Sun: the atmosphere. NASA TO PROBE EARTH'S MAGNETIC FIELD
A new NASA Solar Terrestrial Probe mission is going to shed light on one mysterious event called magnetic reconnection, according to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).Magnetic reconnection occurs when magnetic lines of force cross, cancel, and reconnect releasing magnetic energy in the form of heat and charged-particle kinetic energy. Magnetic reconnection is a description of the tearing mode resistive instability in plasma, in which the plasma resistivity leads to dissipation of free magnetic energy on a timescale intermediate between slow diffusion and fast Alfven relaxation. Officers say one emergency call came from a man who rang police claiming to have seen the ghosts of 'two old ladies in a white Fiesta' on a dual carriageway.Other worried calls came from people who spotted ghosts or poltergeists on CCTV cameras and another who said he'd seen a ghost which could 'make me a million quid'.
