I was looking out of the south-west facing window of our apartment (near Chauderon, Lausanne) for meteorites (the peak of the Perseid shower was last night). I had been leaning out of the darkened apartment for at least 15 minutes, which overlooks a darkened courtyard, so my eyes had become accustomed to the darkness. At roughly 1:45am, I saw an object moving rapidly on the left side of my field of view, roughly in a southern direction. I thought initially it must be a meteorite which I'd been spotting at the corner of my field of view for the last couple of nights, so turned to focus at it. I was surprised when it didn't disappear before I could focus on it and secondly thought it must be a low flying plane. When focused on it I then noticed it was 3 lights/orbs in a perfect triangle formation, coming to an extended point at the front of the 3 and moving across the sky in a straight line to the west/north west. They were larger than any of the stars in the sky, or meteorites I'd seen, but much duller, almost blurry and of a yellowy-orangey tinge. The lights were constant in their brightness for the entire time and were only just bright enough to see. I watched it go across almost the entirety of the sky visible from my apartment window before it disappeared into cloud above to my right. This took somewhere around 7-8 seconds. It looked as though there was what I can only describe as heat haze around the lights and in between them all. I could not see a distinct outline of an object, but I had the impression it was a triangular black object with the lights being underneath it, rather than right on the extremities of the wings and nose as you would see on an aeroplane. There was a distinct lack of sound as it flew over (I don't really get any city noise at that time where I am), although I could swear I heard a quiet low humming noise, which seemed to linger for a few seconds after it had passed. I couldn't quite work out the perspective as I viewed it and it seemed either very large or very low (or perhaps both). I'd say it looked slightly larger than a passenger jet and like it was flying only a few hundred feet up. My initial thought was that it was following the north edge of Lake Geneva (it would have been over either that or the south side of town), but looking at a map it must have been heading in a north westerly direction the entire time I was viewing it and the lake takes a south-westerly turn on the West side of Lausanne. My reaction from about halfway through the sighting was for every hair on my body to stand on end. I felt shocked and after losing sight of it woke my fiance up to tell her, but she hugged me while half asleep and fell asleep again. That made me calm down a bit, but I then wrote my account down and told a friend on the internet. At about 2:15pm I went back to the window to watch out for lights rather than the meteorites which I'd now lost interest in and downloaded an app to enhance nighttime filming on my phone. I stood with my camera ready for the next 45 minutes or so taking some practice videos, but saw nothing more than a few more meteorites. The cloud cover had increased greatly by this point too, as only about 25% of the sky was visible, whereas it was more like 80-90% when I saw the lights.

On the 18th, an unnamed witness spotted a "one large white spotlight with a blue light circling it and two smaller white objects off to either side" while driving south on 84th Street in Slaughterville, OK.
Surmounting this cluster of lights was another red one that pulsed. In the flashes from this, the witness could see a triangular shaped craft that appeared to be of a "gun metal gray" color. It seemed the craft was in a holding patter, hovering over a nearby farm house.
The witness described the object as "the size of a football stadium" and while he claims to have taken a photograph, no such image has yet surfaced.
A MUFON filed investigator looked into the sighting, but it remains unclear as yet what all he or she managed to learn.

May 8th, 2013 - 9:15pm I was out walking my dog around the block when I observed 1 star like object moving fast from west to east.At one point another star like object crossed the 1st ones path moving north to south. Then the object that was moving west to east turned and joined the others north south path. I then noticed another star like object moving south to north which I watched until it was out of sight. About two minutes after that I observed two star like objects moving west to east roughly a mile apart from each other and closing the gap quickly until they were almost parallel with each other and I watched them until they were out of sight. I This is not the first night I have observed these star like objects. Some night there might be one or two and some nights none. But tonight they were in unison with one another and moved in tandem. I have always been very interested in UFO's and extraterestial crafts. I was so excited to think that I had actually witnessed a ufo experience of my own even though at a long distance away. I've been told that these star like objects in the night sky might just be satellites but I believe tonights observations were intellegent crafts with the way they moved together. Date: December 31, 2011Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m. I live in the Goodby's Allow area in Jacksonville, Florida. Shout 9:00 p.m. (12/31/2011), my ensemble and I counted as many as eight vital yellowish-brown lights (I counted 7, she counted 8). We saw them in the southwest for individual proceedings, and they appeared to be expressive methodically just before the east, not speeding up or slowing down, nor irregular street. They in due course faded out one at a time. The last one faded out in this area without delay overhead. My ensemble believes she saw them adjust information, but I did not notion that. I tried to get a video of it in the same way as my vivid receiver camera, but that didn't work out.

More and more witnesses are reporting objects, such as aircraft that appear to be suspended in the air, hovering in one spot, static. Is this some type of optical illusion, hologram, reflection, or an actual object stopped in mid-flight?
So far, no one knows and unless other witnesses connected with some of these reports come forward, it difficult to legitimize these sightings.
Here is a recent report submitted to MUFON. Within all the traffic the witness speaks off, surely someone else saw this "plane"and are willing to back up this witness's report. -SW

Summary: I saw what I thought was a plane, but it was just hanging in the air low to the ground with no noise.
REPORT:
I was driving South on 35, somewhere between Pt.Pleasant and Southside, WV. To my left, I saw what looked like a huge plane flying way too low. I thought it was going to crash with it being so low, so I started to slow down. The closer I got to it, I saw that it was a military cargo plane.
Then, it seemed like it was not moving...so I stopped almost completely when I got right beside it. It was not moving. I turned down my radio and there was no noise from the plane.
It looked like a big military cargo plane, it couldn't have been any higher in the air than the top of a telephone pole. I could read the stickers on it it was so low. All I remember of the stickers is that there was an American flag and numbers and letters, no words.
The plane was not tipping in any direction. It was completely still. Just sitting in the air. After about a minute of being right beside it, traffic started coming from the other direction so I had to move. Once the traffic moved, I could not see it anywhere behind me. There was no plane and no smoke from a crash. It was just gone.
I had the worst feeling of a panic attack I have ever felt. It started just as soon as I looked over at the plane when it was beside me. My entire chest hurt and I felt like I was going to vomit. I was so afraid. And, I do not know why!
